The long-haul increase (which is especially significant for those who want to travel between Asia and Europe or North America) amounts to about $51 per ticket. That's more than $100 more on a round-trip ticket than the same ticket would have cost prior to Aug. 1.

Depending on the loyalty program that you are using, award redemptions and cash tickets are subject to a fuel surcharge at Cathay Pacific.
