Scandinavia is known to be beautiful, bucket-list, brutally expensive. The summer, it is becoming a lot cheaper with one of the largest hotel groups in the region.
Nordic Choice Hotels, which has recently rebranded as Strawberry, and is one of the largest hotel chains in Northern Europe, has introduced a flat-rate summer pass, allowing you to spend five consecutive nights at its portfolio of Nordic hotels, charging you just a single initial fee. In case you have been considering a summer visit to the Scandinavian countries and are reluctant about its price, this promotion is worth considering.
It is a simple idea. You buy a pass in advance, redeem it to reserve your five nights in hotels of the Strawberry program, and check-in with your digital pass and a special code. No complex calculations of the points, no unexpected nightly rate changes, just a simple price five-night Nordic summer travel.
Pricing will be dependent on property type in two levels:
The two levels are occupied by two individuals in a common double room and all the bookings have to be made in the name of the passholder. The pass is applicable to lodging between June 18-24, 2026 - in the very middle of the Nordic summer season, when the days are long, the weather is at its best and the region is at its most alive.

The breakfast is provided in all the participating properties except one where the guests of Comfort Hotel Xpress and Stopover locations will be able to buy breakfast at the premises, as opposed to getting it free. It is a small ditty to a good value pack.
The head office of Strawberry is located in Oslo, Norway and it has about 250 hotels within Scandinavia, Finland and Baltic states making it one of the players in hospitality market in the whole Northern Europe. The portfolio literally encompasses the budget-friendly urban hotels based in the city centres as well as more comfortable standard hotels located in major destinations all over Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and the Baltics.
One fact that Choice Hotels loyalists should know: Strawberry is a Choice Hotels franchisee, and thus Choice Privileges can be redeemed at Choice Hotels franchisees. Here you can redeem your current Choice points- an economical way to use them when the traveler has a balance and wishes to use the balance on a Nordic adventure. At these properties, you do not earn points in the Choice Privileges program, though, so you should not count on accruing a substantial balance during your stay.
Strawberry does have its own loyalty currency, the Spenn points, which you will earn each night under this promotion, both in qualifying nights and Spenn points. The typical benefits of the membership (i.e. room upgrade) are not included, which is a fair compromise considering the highly discounted rate system.
We will put some real numbers to this. One night at the Comfort Hotel Xpress Stockholm central will be around 218 in the first half of July, the high season in one of the most frequented cities of Scandinavia. At the budget pass of about $106 per night, you will be saving over 50 percent on the usual rack rate in the same type of property.
Such a discount on Nordic accommodation in summer, and breakfast included is truly out of the ordinary. Scandinavia is always rated as one of the highest traveling regions in the world and the accommodation charges are one of the biggest factors contributing to this perception. This price will eliminate one of the biggest financial obstacles to long-ha Nordic travel.
This value computation is most effective to the traveler who was already planning a multi-city or multi-night venture in the area. The pass will provide a virtual repricing of your accommodation, in effect five or more nights in Scandinavia or the Baltics this summer, at a rate that would otherwise be hard to achieve in the normal booking channels during the peak season.
The most attractive aspect of this pass is the flexibility incorporated in it. Even your five nights do not need to be in a row, and Strawberry has enough geographic coverage that you can actually plan a multi-destination trip, not basing it on one city.
Some options to organize five nights with Strawberry network:
It is not applicable to every Strawberry property as they are included in the promotion, so it is necessary to verify the specific booking page to ensure the hotels of your choice are included before buying the pass. The choice is wide, although it is always good to check beforehand that you have availability on your particular destinations and dates.

This advertisement is well-adapted to a certain kind of traveler: the one who can afford to be flexible with their summer schedule and who is already interested in Northern Europe as a destination and in the convenience of being certain of the cost of accommodation beforehand.
It is less attractive to travelers whose schedules are fixed to properties not members of the portfolio, or who spend one or two nights in the area. The five-night minimum commitment implies the value is skewed towards longer lengths of stay - which is precisely the sort of trip Scandinavia is rewarding anyway, there is so much to see and the major attractions are so far between each other.
In the case of families that are traveling with the children, the two-person double-room arrangement implies that you would have to buy several passes to accommodate a bigger number of people to the overall cost-calculation.
Strawberry's Summer Pass is one of the cleaner travel deals to surface for Nordic Europe this season, and the value it delivers roughly $106 to $142 per night with breakfast included, across 250 properties in some of Europe's most desirable summer destinations is legitimately hard to replicate through standard booking. For travelers who've been putting off a Scandinavian trip because of the cost, this is a practical reason to stop putting it off.
The window closes on August 24, 2026, so the planning timeline is manageable but not indefinite. If the Nordics are already on your radar for this summer, check the participating properties, confirm your preferred destinations are covered, and move quickly deals priced this well in this part of the world don't tend to linger.
