Up to 200,000 points from the best credit card bonus offers right now and you can get them for May 2026

Welcome bonuses are going up. There's a quicker cycle of limited time offers. And a few cards are at bonus levels that haven't been seen in years, if ever, and are all-time high. The current environment is one that is rewarding action, whether you're starting to accumulate points or adding on to an existing balance for a redemption.

Here are some of the best credit card offers this month, as well as a look at what each one offers and how it's best stacked to make the most of your finances.

Make sure not to miss Chase Sapphire Reserve 150,000 Points and a Premium Travel Ecosystem

The Chase Sapphire Reserve is giving away 150,000 points for Ultimate Rewards after spending $6,000 in its first three months, one of the best bonuses this card has ever offered in its memory. With a typical two cents per point valuation, that's about $3,000 worth of travel value for just the welcome offer.

The new earning structure is designed for travelers who book their flights and hotels directly with the respective carriers, on Chase Travel purchases, and on dining worldwide earn 8x points, 4x points, and 3x points. The card costs a $795 annual fee, but Chase offsets it very generously, including a $300 annual travel credit, up to $300 in dining credits at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables, free Apple TV+ and Apple Music through June 2027, and access to Chase Sapphire Lounges at certain airports with two guests per visit.

American Express Platinum Up to 175,000 Points With Stacked Credits

The Amex Platinum is offering up to 175,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $12,000 in the first six months. The offer is dependent on the applicant so Amex runs a soft credit check to reveal the specific bonus that you are eligible for, meaning that there is no risk to your credit score involved in checking your eligibility.

The annual fee is $895, but the credits that are accumulated on this card are meant to provide a substantial benefit to those who qualify for the card. The list is long:

  • One of the most notable credit increases this year on the Amex Platinum:
  • $600 hotel credit, which may be used as $300 per half-year in bookings with Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection via Amex Travel.
  • $400 Resy credit $100 for qualifying dinners at Resy restaurants in the U.S.
  • $300 entertainment credit in digital format $25 per month for Disney+, Hulu, Peacock, NYT, WSJ and more
  • Lululemon credit $300 is $75 per quarter at U.S. lululemon retail stores.
  • $200 in airline fee credit for incidental charges from selected qualifying airline (available in increments of $200)
  • $209 credit for a full annual membership to CLEAR+ (which includes CLEAR+)$209 credit for an annual membership to CLEAR+ (CLEAR+ included)
  • $200 Uber Cash + $120 Uber One credit Month of Uber credits + Uber One Reimbursement

The Global Lounge Collection includes 10 free Delta Sky Club visits per year, access to lounge areas at more than 1,550 airport lounges around the world and Priority Pass Select membership at Delta facilities.

Get 75,000 Points and Calendar-Year Credits that pay twice with Citi Strata Elite

The Citi Strata Elite is one of the more recent high-quality card offers and offers a 75,000-point welcome bonus after spending $6,000 over the first three months, while also having a credit program that has a unique welcome bonus for early customers.

The hotel credit, splurge credit, and Blacklane credits don't reset at the end of your cardmember year, but at the end of the calendar year, which means you may be eligible for up to $1,200 in hotel credit, splurge credit and Blacklane in your first cardmember year, then again at the beginning of the next one in 2027. A real first year benefit that isn't found in most of the higher priced cards.

Capital One Venture X is a 75,000 Miles and a Simpler Premium Value Proposition!

If you're looking for a rewards card without the hassle of juggling a bunch of points and miles for your monthly spending, the Capital One Venture X may be a better option. They will allocate 75,000 miles after $4,000 in the first three months of use, which equates to $750 in travel value.

The annual fee stands at $395, and doing the math on canceling that is simple enough: a $300 annual travel credit from Capital One plus the 10,000-mile anniversary bonus (which is valued at $100) reduces the net cost for the majority of cardholders to less than $100 annually. Access to more than 1,300 lounges around the world (Capital One's own lounges and Priority Pass) really provide value as a day-of-travel amenity.

Anniversary bonuses are a small but easy-to-earn benefit on the Chase United card that's unlocked with the United Business Card: 5,000 miles annually when you have both cards.A small, but easy-to-enjoy benefit for United cardholders looking to take full advantage of the card's ecosystem is the annual 5,000-mile anniversary bonus cardholders can receive when they hold both the chase united card and the United Business Card.

Other strong offers that I have found:These are some other strong offers that I've seen

After spending $8,000 over three months, Ink Business Preferred ($95 annual fee) rewards members with a 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points bonus, making it one of the best business card bonuses currently available, especially for small business owners who spend plenty on travel, advertising and telecommunications.

Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards Summit Card ($395 annual fee) is giving 100,000 Atmos Rewards bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award for $6,500 worth of spend over 90 days. For a traveler who travels with a companion, the award alone (which is paying for an award redemption plus 25,000 miles for the traveler's companion) is very useful and provides value.

Final Thought

May 2026 looks ready to be one of the better months of recent years for travel rewards card bonuses. Several cards are trading at both high and all-time purchases at the same time and that's a special set of conditions that warrant attention.

The right card for each person is based on their spend habits, program balances and their final program redemption. But the overall rule still applies: the higher these bonuses, the quicker the points get added that can be used for any kind of premium travel redemption. A single smart card choice or two synergistic cards can make a business class seat or luxurious hotel stay attainable in months, not years.

If any of these is a travel choice you have in mind, this is the time to take action. While bonuses are great, it's important to recognize that they don't last forever, and a few of the bonuses featured in this list are actually time restricted. The price of delay is in points that you missed!

All offers subject to terms and conditions. Annual Fees, earning rates and benefits are subject to change. Please check the latest details on the offer before applying.
